"I'm Back"

I am so disappointed in myself, I can't seem to blast past this plateau I am on. I lost a little last week and gained it back this week. I have got to find a way to shake up this yo-yo syndrome. I need to rededicate myself and focus on my goal. I like Tracy's analogy of the fire; mine has burned out as well. So let's start the fire again girls and get motivated to finish what we started.

"You gain a little you lose a little"

Well I guess it would be the week before that I gained a pound, and this week I could not quite redeem myself, I was able to lose just a half of a pound. I feel like I am stuck; I am going to try something different this week. I will let you know if it works. Just 2 more weeks to go. I have to lose 5 pounds to meet my short term goal. I am going to the pool today with Tracy and Rashelle. I know that will be good for us.

Busted on my Challenge!

I was 1 lb. short of the 2 lb. challenge; but there were some good losses this time. I am so happy that everyone is buzzing with more motivation. I am going to give a little more this week; I think I am going to try the water aerobics again. I also plan to keep my Monday date with the Library Lapper's in the MP room...... I am going to personally challenge myself to lose at least 2 lbs. this week. Oh and I will bring gum for those 2lb. losers, Great Job!

I Escaped the Valentine's Day Dreaded Weight Gain

Just barely got by with a 1.4 loss. I think we all struggled this week; so I issued a challenge to our weight loss group that if you don't lose at least 2 lbs. you would have to bring some healthy item such as a bottle of water, an apple or sugar free gum to the ones that do lose 2 lbs. or more.
It is important to keep motivated and stay focused. I think if we set reasonable goals we will be able to reach them. Choose a personal goal that you want to attain and go for it.

A New Challenge

Yesterday was the beginning of a new challenge; I managed to lose 2.5 pounds this past week, which I am so happy to have lost. But the big Losers this week, Lilli, Amanda, and Kim, they have set the bar really high. They have inspired me to push it harder this week. The workout in the MP room is so fun, plus we really do get to "Sweating to the Oldies"; Richard Simmons is great to work with. Even though it is a small group, it is just nice to work together for a common goal of getting healthier and physically fit; and BTW Glenda is a spunky little dancer, I think she could show us all a few new moves.

Today's the Day

I am so glad to start back weighing in again; I really need this weigh in, it makes me so aware of what I am putting into my mouth, and that in one week I will be held accountable for the results of how responsible I have been with my healthy eating. I am also looking forward to working out on Monday after work in the MP room. This will be a time for us girls to share and laugh and have some fun. I will share results next Monday; hopefully there will be a little less of me.

A Great Finish to my 12 Week Journey

I reached my goal of losing 30 pounds, WHOOPIE! I placed 2nd in the overall challenge and will be receiving a check for $170.00, YAHOO! Now that was a really nice incentive, but what really matters is that I am more fit and healthy; I plan to lose another 25 pounds, a personal goal that I am striving to reach by summer. No bikinis for me, just a nice size 12. The library Challenge will give me the accountability that I need. Don't put it off; if you want to start losing some weight and get healthy, sign up today. I promise you will feel so much better all over.
