A Great Finish to my 12 Week Journey

I reached my goal of losing 30 pounds, WHOOPIE! I placed 2nd in the overall challenge and will be receiving a check for $170.00, YAHOO! Now that was a really nice incentive, but what really matters is that I am more fit and healthy; I plan to lose another 25 pounds, a personal goal that I am striving to reach by summer. No bikinis for me, just a nice size 12. The library Challenge will give me the accountability that I need. Don't put it off; if you want to start losing some weight and get healthy, sign up today. I promise you will feel so much better all over.

Coming to the end as a big loser

Well I was able to pull off a 3 pound loss this week, I had hoped for more. I need to lose 4 more pounds to reach my goal of 30 pounds, so I will be working out extra hard to make this happen. I am excited about the possibility of keeping this going here at the library. I so need the accountability. Me and Richard will be working out everyday, it is such a fun way to work out and you really do sweat to the oldies.

Missed the Scales!

As some of you know, I became deathly ill from swimming in the Artic TSU swimming pool, I truly think I went into shock from the frigid water and then what was I thinking, taking a hot as I could stand it shower; I truly got so sick. I will not do that again. Well there is always next week, as a matter of fact, 2 more weeks. I will be working out with Richard Simmons this week; no swimming for me in the icy water.

1st Place last week

Well I managed to win 1 st place last week, but I stayed
the same this week; I have 7 pounds to reach my goal
of thirty pounds, so me and Richard will be working out
a little more this week......Can't wait for the pool to open back up.

I'm a Happy Holiday Loser

Well the holidays were good to me, I managed to lose another 5 pounds, total of 23.
Whoo Hoo! It is rough to watch everyone eating cake and pie all day long, not to mention
laying around feeling lazy and watching football. I was able to work out with good old
Richard Simmons for 3 or 4 days, and I felt so much better. I have 3 more weigh ins for
the biggest loser contest; my goal is to lose 30 pounds and I know that if I put my mind to
it I can do it. Smaller portions and Move it, Move It, Move It!
